Toothbrushes and clothing for the West Side Campaign Against Hunger

On Friday, October 19, The Parents Association is holding an after-school event for the West Side Campaign Against Hunger.

Children, parents, and caregivers are bringing new toothbrushes and toothpaste, and gently-used clothing to donate to the organization. Hannah Lupien, the WSCAH volunteer coordinator, will speak about how the organization  helps people in need, and families will help by sorting and organizing clothing, and writing letters to elected officials about public policy.

The West Side Campaign Against Hunger, based at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, runs a supermarket-style food pantry staffed by volunteers, and offers social services, wellness programs, and a cooking program that trains people to work in food services.
